Support & FAQ

App: abgelehnt! (dismissed!) · Provider: REGURK LIMITED

Getting started

How do I block a number?

Open the "New" tab, paste in the nuisance number, use the slider to choose how many similar numbers you want to block along with it, and tap Save. Done.

What does the slider do?

The slider hides the last digits of the number. The more digits are hidden, the larger the blocked range — so a single rule can block many similar numbers at once. The App shows you roughly how many numbers will be blocked and warns you when a range gets very large.

How do I turn on call filtering?

For blocking to actually happen, you must set "abgelehnt!" as the call-screening app in your Android settings. The App shows a prompt and takes you to the right setting.

Exceptions

How do I make sure certain numbers always get through?

Add the number as an exception — either globally in Settings or directly on a rule. Exceptions always take precedence and are never blocked.

Common questions

Is my data transmitted anywhere?

No. All numbers, rules and statistics stay solely on your device. There is no account, no cloud and no tracking.

Why did a call still come through?

Check that the App is enabled as your call filter and that the number really falls within one of your blocked ranges (and isn't accidentally saved as an exception). In rare cases, network or device quirks can let a call through.

How do I turn blocking off again?

Android provides no way for an app to give up the call-screening role on its own. You can remove the role in your Android settings under default apps. Alternatively, you can simply pause individual rules in the App.

Can I change the theme and language?

Yes, in Settings. For the theme you can choose Light, Dark or "System".
